2nd Vice District Governor Greg brought Fairfax Lions a “S2L” message: Those with a passion for SERVICE (the “S”) are great candidates to become LIONS (the first “L”) , and will become great Lion LEADERS (the second “L”). Greg emphasized the LCI theme “Serve to Lead, and Lead to Serve,” and the new Lions service priority: Mental Health.
It was a great pleasure to welcome a guest, Karla (whose dad had been a Lion for 50 years)…the photo shows Karla picking the winning ticket for the 50-50 drawing.
Finally, on behalf of the District Governor, Greg gave the DG’s award to the Fairfax Lions Club president, to present to a club member.
Fairfax Lions Club is one of the largest service organizations in Northern Virginia. Our members are from all walks of life, we give back to our community in many ways, and we have a good time doing it! We welcome you!
