Each year, the Lions Club President selects one Fairfax Lion for outstanding service – to be “Lion of the Year.” In the City of Fairfax, volunteers of the year from all service clubs are recognized in a very nice ceremony hosted by the Inter-Service Club Council (ISCC). On August 6th, Volunteer of the Year Lion Joe Rovansek received a certificate as was congratulated by the City Mayor, flanked by (R) President of Fairfax Lions Club, and (L) President of the ISCC.

Fairfax Lions Club is one of the largest service organizations in Northern Virginia. Our members are from all walks of life, we give back to our community in many ways, and we have a good time doing it! We welcome you!
