Orders are VERY brisk; to ensure we have fruit for you – preorder your purchase and schedule a pickup time!
We operate a socially distanced and contact free sale. Customers will not need to exit their vehicles. Orders will be taken and paid-for as you enter the sale lines; Lion volunteers will load your vehicle as you drive forward (much like a fast-food take-out line). Credit Cards, mobile payments, checks accepted. Credit cards preferred. If you must pay by cash please have exact change for your purchases.
See prices below. We sell full & half boxes ONLY of fruit direct from FL groves; we do not offer smaller quantities to avoid direct handling of fruit.
The preorder system allows us to spread pick-ups across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – at a time you select – to avoid long lines. To ensure we have the fruit you want, pre-order NOW and schedule your pickup at https://fairfaxlions.square.site/s/order

Lions Club President Mike Thanks Toastmaster Margaret for Speaking
Margaret challenged Lions to give a 1-2 minute impromptu talk on their favorite movie, vacation, TV show, country, or public figure. It was fun, and illustrated the importance of learning and practicing public speaking.
Our guest speakers on July 20 were Abby and Tejas, representing the “Borgen Project.” The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nation on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. It serves as an innovative, national-level campaign to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy. The Borgen Project web page: https://borgenproject.org/about-us/
Abby and Tejas Speak about World Poverty
Abby and Tejas told us about world poverty, that 689 million persons around the world (10% of the worlds population) live in extreme poverty – that is, exist on less than $1.90 per person each day. And, 2/3’s of those are children. The Borgen Project tries rto make a difference by focusing political attention on the situation.
