The Fairfax Host Lions Club sponsored another local competition as part of LCI’s international peace poster contest, and we are proud to display the work of two young artists who won the club’s contest.

Peace Poster winners, their families, and their art teachers were recognized at the FHLC dinner meeting on Tuesday, January 4.
All posters advanced to the District 24-A contest and were judged by staff from the Arts Council of Fairfax County. Out of 25 posters, MinJoo’s poster took first place, while Ha-young’s poster received an honorable mention. MinJoo’s poster will advance to the District 24 State contest.

We are one of 70 Lions clubs in Northern Virginia, all part of the largest service organization in the world. Being a member of the Fairfax Lions is a fun and rewarding experience. Our club has won the annual “best club” in the Region numerous times. We have dedicated members from all walks of life who share the pleasure of giving back to the community.
